Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Rohit Shetty and others at National Museum of Indian Cinema inauguration by Narendra Modi
After a series of meetings with Bollywood celebs like Anil Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Ekta Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and many more, PM Narendra Modi was in the city to inaugurate the National Museum of Indian Cinema. The event was marked by the presence of Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Rohit Shetty, Poonam Dhillon, Aandnd L Rai, Subhash Ghai, Boney Kapoor among many others representing Bollywood. Several causes of concern pertaining to the entertainment industry were addressed including the GST on movie ticket prices, shoot-related permissions, piracy and more were addressed.

"Film and society are a reflection of each other. We have watched movies on India's poverty and helplessness, but now we have films where if there is a problem, there is a solution too," said PM Modi at the event.
"Films have important role in India's soft power. Single-window system, portal for obtaining film shoot-related permissions is in works. To curb piracy, cam-cording will not just be a punishable offence but will attract strict penalties," he added..
